Tree care for Galena — historic district, hilly terrain, the only Iowa-based crew that works your bluffs right.
Galena's terrain is unlike anything else in the Tri-State — steep bluffs, narrow streets in the historic district, and mature trees on properties that have been there since the 1800s. We work both the historic downtown homes and the resort properties in the surrounding hills. Crossing into Illinois doesn't change our pricing or our service area.
Common Galena tree species: white oak, red oak, sugar maple, basswood (lots of these in the bluff forests), American beech, hackberry, and shagbark hickory. The historic district has many trees that pre-date most of the homes — they're protected by city ordinance in some cases, so removal often requires city approval. We can help with the paperwork.
Galena is approximately 15-20 miles from our home base in Durango, IA. Well inside our standard 30-mile service area, no travel surcharge.
Most Galena estimates we can do same-day or next-day. Emergency response: usually 2-4 hours during storm events.

Yes. Climbing-only, rope access, hand-carrying gear when equipment can't get in. It's slower than open-yard work, but we have the climber experience for it.
Yes — large-property work on the resort side of Galena is well within scope. We've done multi-day projects out there.
