// Service Area
Tree care for Asbury homeowners — established neighborhoods, mature canopies, careful work.
Asbury sits just west of Dubuque off Highway 20 and is one of our most active service areas. The neighborhoods around Asbury Road, Saratoga, and Plaza Drive have a lot of mature trees from when the area was developed in the 70s and 80s — and a lot of those trees are now hitting end-of-life or showing storm damage from recent severe weather.
Common Asbury tree species: silver maple (everywhere, fast-growing, prone to splitting), red oak and white oak (the keepers when healthy), green ash (mostly dead or dying from EAB), American elm and Chinese elm, blue spruce (popular landscape choice, often outgrowing yards), and pin oak. The wind exposure on Asbury's west-facing yards means we see a lot of storm damage from straight-line winds and ice events.
Asbury is approximately 8-12 miles from our home base in Durango, IA. Well inside our standard 30-mile service area, no travel surcharge.
Most Asbury estimates we can do same-day or next-day. Emergency response: usually 2-4 hours during storm events.
Yes — we handle HOA approval paperwork if needed (some require notification before tree removal). Just let us know upfront if your subdivision has rules.
Yes, 24-hour emergency. We can usually be on-site within 2-3 hours during storm events given the proximity to our Durango base.
Silver maples are fast-growing and prone to splitting at the crotch — common storm-damage tree in Asbury. We see a lot of partial-failure silver maples that need either heavy pruning or full removal. Both are routine for us.
Yes. If you have multiple trees that need work on the same property, we discount because we're already there with crew and equipment. Tell us when we quote.
